Oath of Destiny & Skald's Song is a game aid for The Shores of the Godwhale - Thorwal & the Gjalskerland, offering a wealth of game material for exciting adventures in the wind-swept northwest of Aventuria across 48 pages: three short adventures and several game aids, including a typical Ottaskin, inner-Aventurian legends of the Gjalsker, and game aids related to Godi, Skalds, as well as the language of the Thorwalers and Gjalskers, each accompanied by a detailed language glossary.

In addition to the eponymous game aid Oath of Destiny & Skald's Song, the master screen set includes Off to Adventure - The Shores of the Godwhale, which features six ready-to-play archetypes from the Shores of the Godwhale and the adventure Oath of Loyalty on 32 pages. This adventure leads the heroes to Torstorsgard, the second oldest settlement of Thowal, where they assist the Hersirin of one of the local clans and uncover an ancient mystery.

Furthermore, the master screen set - Oath of Destiny & Skald's Song includes six insert pages for the DSA5 Universal Game Master Screen. These display the cover motifs of the regional game aid The Shores of the Godwhale, the Armory of the Shores of the Godwhale, and the adventure Runes of Destiny across three pages. The other three pages contain useful tables for gameplay at the Shores of the Godwhale, such as region-specific designations for the yearly cycle or rule summaries for shipping and the Gjalsker's Palenkel.
