DF-Models HotHammer Competition

The 5.1 models are based on the tried and tested 1:10XL 5 models, but have been given some additional parts and modifications. The models are now equipped with a centre differential. This distributes the power perfectly between the two axles. An aluminium support for the front axle section ensures greater chassis rigidity. The Hothammer 5.1 is also equipped with an aluminium upper deck. A dual-rate function for the throttle is now possible using the Race X3 3-channel remote control. A switch can be used to select 100, 75 or 50 % maximum power at full throttle. The metal chassis, XL oil-pressure shock absorbers with aluminium parts, aluminium steering levers, steel CVD gimbals and ball bearings naturally remain standard features of the 1:10XL models in the 5.1 version. The HotHammer 5.1 (No.3189) is equipped with 17mm wheel drivers as well as a powerful 3180kv brushless motor and the DF Models DF-120BL brushless controller with 120 ampere output. The HotHammer 5.1 has enough power to move the model off-road. Rapid drifts, jumps and gravel runs at top speeds of up to 70 km/h (possible in 3S LiPo mode) - that's what the HotHammer 5.1 is made for. The DF-1500D 15 kg steering servo with XXL steel gearbox provides sufficient steering force in every situation.
