The celebrated star chef Georg Menninger had closed his upscale restaurant in the Alps, as he did every year, to celebrate New Year's Eve with his family and staff in a small circle. At 63 years old, Georg intended to retire at the start of the new year. Therefore, he had announced that he would reveal his successor that evening. His decision had been eagerly anticipated. The two chefs, Marcel and Henrik, who were competing for Georg's position, presented an impressive four-course meal. Together, they enjoyed a lavish feast with plenty of drinks. However, when the fireworks from the village lit up the horizon at midnight, the famous chef was found dead on the terrace of his restaurant. How could this New Year's celebration end so tragically?.
