Creativ Company Shea butter soap base

Mild, premixed glycerine soap base (melt and pour soap) with added shea. Shea is a natural fat derived from the shea tree. Melt the raw soap in a water bath or microwave, then add fragrances, dyes, etc., before pouring it into silicone moulds. This soap base does not contain SLS and is therefore sulfate-free.

For melting over a water bath: Cut or chop the soap base into smaller pieces and place them in a heat-resistant flask. Heat water in a saucepan to a temperature below boiling point. Immerse the flask with the soap in the water bath. The soap will melt at 70-75°C.

For melting in the microwave: Chop the soap base into small pieces and place them in a microwave-safe bowl. Set the microwave to 80% of its maximum temperature and heat the soap for a maximum of 30 seconds at a time. Remove the bowl, stir, and return it for additional 30-second intervals until all the soap has melted. This is a quick and effective technique. If desired, you can add scented oil, soap dyes, etc., to the liquid soap before pouring it into silicone moulds. After casting in the mould, the soap should ideally be left for a few days before being wrapped.

Glycerin is beneficial for both skin and hair. The shea butter content from cold-pressed shea nuts makes this soap extra moisturizing, softening, and protective, while gently cleansing the skin.
