Product details

When you dip the plaster gauze in water for just a few seconds, it is ready to use immediately. You can cut it into smaller pieces or use it directly from the roll. Plaster gauze adheres to plastic, glass, wire mesh, cardboard, papier-mâché, and more. When applying it to the skin, you should first apply petroleum jelly.

Here's how to use plaster bandages: Wear gloves and place a plastic or wax cloth on the table. Start by cutting the gauze into smaller pieces so that it is ready to use before you begin working. Place the wet plaster gauze on metal, glass, Styrofoam, or wire mesh and smooth it out with your fingers. The more layers of gauze you apply, the sturdier it will be. Allow the plaster gauze to dry until the next day. Then you can paint and varnish the dried plaster gauze. Note: The wet plaster gauze will soak cardboard and other absorbent materials, so be sure to cover such materials with painter's tape beforehand.
