Biodegradable Balloon Ribbon

The balloon ribbon made from gelatin and cotton is perfect for quickly and easily sealing latex balloons. The 3 mm holding ribbon is crafted from the finest cotton strands that are bonded with gelatin. The closure disc is produced from bio-plastic, which decomposes in nature without harmful substances within a few years, according to the EN13432 standard. Competition and long-distance flight cards can be easily attached to the balloon ribbon.

Storage: The price for environmental friendliness is, of course, limited shelf life. With optimal storage (dry, cool, dark), you can easily keep the closures for 3-4 years. However, changed storage conditions can quickly lead to signs of aging: Moisture causes the ribbons to curl up. They become slippery but retain their function and tear resistance. Heat (>21 °C) can make the closure disc brittle and crumbly.

Tip: 20-pack for easy handling. Simply place the bundle on the filling nozzle, fill the balloon with helium, seal it with two hand movements, and remove the balloon.
