Cranio Creations Maharaja - Version Kickstarter

Build for the king, win for the gods.

Maharaja is a new edition of the classic game by Wolfgang Kramer and Michael Kiesling. This version supports 1 to 4 players and features new graphics and components. Players build statues of their chosen gods to please the Maharaja during his visit and score victory points based on the majority they achieve.

In the game, players take on the role of priests traveling to various cities in India, constructing statues and shrines dedicated to their favorite gods to expand their worship. They are assisted by several characters with different abilities. Each year, the Maharaja, the great king of India, changes his residence, and players receive rewards based on their gods' worship value. At the beginning of each year, players secretly plan their actions to be executed simultaneously.

The game concludes at the end of the seventh year or when a player builds their seventh statue, with the player holding the most prestige declared the winner.

In addition to the new graphics and components, this edition of Maharaja introduces new characters that influence turn order, additional methods to earn victory points, and bonuses for scoring a city after the Maharaja's visit based on the chosen assistant. There are also modular rules that can be incorporated during the game and in the final scoring.
