November 6, 1983 - Hawkins, Indiana.
After a long, 10-hour RPG session, young Will Byers disappears while riding his bike through the fields between Cornwallis and Kerley, or as his group of friends calls it, Irkwood. This shocking event triggers a series of bizarre occurrences in their small town. The inexplicable suicide of Benny Hammond, strange phone calls and flickering lights in the Byers' home, Barbara Holland allegedly running away, and the sudden appearance of Eleven, a girl with a shaved head and paranormal powers, seemingly connected to the suspicious Hawkins National Laboratory.
Gradually, new pieces of this supernatural puzzle begin to unfold, turning the lives of some Hawkins residents upside down forever.

Stranger Things: Upside Down is a cooperative game where 2 to 4 players take on the roles of the series' protagonists. At the beginning of the game, players choose a character and one of the two seasons, each with its own board, actions, and unique card sets. The characters use action cards to move through iconic locations in Hawkins, collect items, manage their fear, and surpass the value of token stacks to gain allies, escape a secret government agency, assist Eleven and be supported by her powers, as well as fight the horrors from the Upside Down. They perform their actions over several rounds until they achieve their ultimate goal: to stop the forces of the Upside Down and save Will... or die of fear in the process.
