Clairefontaine Cyanotype Creative Kit Set
Product details
Use the power of the sun to make detailed prints of virtually any object that casts a shadow: Tools, toys, plants, leaves, stones, sand, string, lace, etc. Simply place the object on the piece of fabric and expose it to sunlight (UV). The sharpness and intensity of the image/print may vary depending on the exposure time. Use a digital print as a photographic negative (an inverted black and white photo print on a printer film) instead of an object to create full resolution photos on fabric. To fix plants or images printed on transparencies during the process, a glass or acrylic sheet can be placed on the objects. The fabric then only needs to be rinsed with cold water until no more coloured water runs off. What's more, the cyanotype process is simple, forgiving, fast, magical and fun. Capture the nuance of every shade - a fun group activity for all ages.
