Cephalofair Games Gloomhaven - Les Mâchoires du Lion

Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion is a standalone game that takes place before the events of Gloomhaven. The game features four new characters: Valrath Red Guard (Tank, Crowd Control), Inox Hatchet (Ranged Damage), Human Voidwarden (Support, Mind Control), and Quatryl Demolitionist (Melee Damage, Obstacle Manipulation), who can also be used in the original Gloomhaven game.

The game offers 16 types of monsters, including seven new standard monsters and three new bosses, as well as a new campaign consisting of 25 scenarios. Players are invited to investigate a case of mysterious disappearances in the city. Is it the work of the Vermlings, or is something much more sinister at play?

Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion is designed for a more casual audience, helping players to dive into the gameplay more quickly. All the difficult-to-organize cardboard cards have been removed, and instead, players play directly in the scenario book, which contains new, unique illustrations for each scenario. The final hurdle for getting started—the learning curve of the game—has also been lowered with a simplified rule set and a five-scenario tutorial that makes it easier for new players to get into the game.
