Other Bofors weapons were deployed in the USSR. The Bofors gun fired up to 120 high-explosive shells weighing 2 pounds per minute and could reach an altitude of 3800 m. The final design was intended to quickly detect and track fast-moving targets. This system was often crucial for targeting and utilizing the iron sights of the guns.
