Product details

From the mid-1960s, the Italian car manufacturer Automobili De Tomaso, based in Modena, ceased production of Formula 1 vehicles and shifted to building road sports cars. The Pantera was developed in 1971 in collaboration with Ford and was an evolution of the De Tomaso Mangusta. The mid-engine Pantera was produced from 1971 to 1993 and was equipped with a 351 Cleveland engine from Ford's own engine plant in Brook Park, Ohio, at the beginning and until the end of the 1980s. It is estimated that over 7,000 units of the wedge-shaped, 480-horsepower racing car were built, making it clearly the most successful vehicle of the Italian company. The model, which features front and rear lighting, can be individually coded and represents a magnificent combination of Italian design and American engineering.
