There are various reasons why your Carrera track needs an additional power supply. After a certain length, the power from the connection point is no longer sufficient to supply the entire racetrack with enough energy. The slot cars slow down or come to a stop. Additionally, when multiple vehicles are running simultaneously on one lane or when several switches are used along the track, the power demand of the racetrack increases. To counteract this, you can use this 5-meter long cable. Install it as a line between the connection point and another track section to ensure your entire racetrack receives adequate power.
