Product details
The East German company Multicar has a tradition in vehicle manufacturing that spans several decades and was privatized shortly after the reunification of Germany. The Multicar 26 was introduced at the Commercial Vehicles IAA in Hanover in 1992. It is based on the Multicar 25, which was produced over 100,000 times in 1991. The newly designed driver's cabin features a significantly lowered windshield, now equipped with two wipers. Inside, sound-absorbing interior panels and an adjustable vibrating seat enhance comfort. Hydraulic systems are designed for three-way, dump, and rear tipping applications or for operating front and attachment devices. The VW four-stroke four-cylinder diesel engine has a displacement of 1896 cc and reaches a top speed of 80 km/h with 40 kW (54.4 hp). The Multicar can be fitted with up to 100 powerful front and attachment devices, making it very versatile in its applications. The Busch model is a 1:87 scale reduction of this prototype. The front section of the model allows a view through the large windshield into the vehicle's interior. Immediately noticeable are the high separate driver seats and the detailed interior. Super-fine pairs of wipers are mounted as separate parts on the outer windshield. Chrome-plated headlights provide a realistic clear glass appearance. The model's taillights are cleverly positioned to allow light to pass through, creating a certain reflection effect.
