Bruder Scania R-series refuse truck

The functionality, craftsmanship, and design of this cab speak for themselves. Therefore, it is no surprise that this vehicle becomes the highlight of Bruder's professional series of trucks. The cab, as always, is faithfully reproduced and features a windscreen made of shatterproof polycarbonate. The mirrors of the Scania truck can be folded in, and the doors can be opened. The entire loading and unloading process of the garbage truck is controlled by a unique rotary wheel mechanism, allowing two garbage bins to be emptied simultaneously. Thanks to the flexible carrier console, the same procedure can be applied to the garbage container.

The process: the garbage bins are slid into the carrier console, and by lifting, the waste is emptied into the trough. As the wheel is turned, the waste is pulled into the functional compaction mechanism, compressed, and then transported to the waste bunker. This process is vividly illustrated through a viewing window. To empty the waste, the handle attached to the top of the waste bunker is used. By turning this handle, the waste is pushed outwards using a discharge slide, past the raised loading and unloading unit. Two small included garbage bins and profile tires complete the picture. For additional play, the Scania garbage truck can be equipped with the garbage bin set (3 small, 1 large bin) (not included).
