The A1 vocabulary for learners includes, in addition to translations into Macedonian-English, the following grammar topics: nouns, articles (der-die-das), plural forms, endings and rules for plural formation, cases (nominative, genitive, dative, accusative), verbs, infinitives, and vowel changes in a shortened form (e.g., a - i - a for fangen - fing - gefangen).

Conjugation number: This number helps to assign all verbs listed in the alphabetical verb list at the end of the book to their corresponding conjugation patterns.

Base forms: Most conjugation forms of irregular verbs can be derived from these three base forms: 1. Base form: infinitive, 2. Base form: 1st person (I) singular present, 3. Base form: 1st person (I) singular past, 4. Base form: 1st person (I) perfect / past participle, information about haben or sein.
