The produced pottery clays are extremely plastic and can be processed very well. The careful wet preparation using the slip method ensures consistent quality. The natural properties of the raw clays are thus preserved. Bodmer pottery clays are excellent glaze carriers due to their ideal lime content. Bodmer engobes and glazes up to 1020 °C are tailored to these clays and provide the best assurance for flawless ceramic products. Clay is sensitive to frost. If it does freeze, allow it to thaw in its packaging and store for some time. Then knead it well.
