Oros is an innovative, strategic worker placement and tile-laying game with a spatial puzzle element. Throughout the game, you place your figures on your own tableau to utilize various actions. For example, you move the different tiles representing islands and land masses on the shared sea game board. By cleverly sliding them back and forth and stacking them, you create volcanoes and mountains. You can then climb these mountains by moving your figures across the game board. Once you reach a mountain, you can build a sacred site there, allowing people to share in your knowledge. The player who spreads the most knowledge by the end of the game is declared the winner. As the game progresses, you can enhance the actions on your tableau and pursue your own unique strategy. Do you want to excel at moving tiles? Or quickly maneuver your figures across the board? Or would you rather cause more volcanoes to erupt to create more land? Your decisions will move mountains.
