The bridge cue, also known as the auxiliary cue, is made of ash wood and serves as an extension and playing aid for pool and snooker tables. The selected bridge is securely screwed onto the aluminum thread attached to the tip of the cue. This tool is necessary when the position of the white cue ball does not allow for the usual aiming position with the fingers. This occurs when the cue ball is too far away or is obstructed unfavorably by another ball. The various heights of the bridges provide a suitable position to enable perfect aiming of the cue ball with the playing cue.
