While the term "Earth Glow" more specifically refers to the glow of the hidden moon, we have applied it to the atmospheric glow that illuminates our world, the only thing standing between life on Earth and the cold, dark void of space.

On July 16, 1969, the crew of Apollo 11 was the first human to look at Earth from space. Buzz Aldrin called it "a radiant jewel in the black velvet sky." NASA astronauts say that seeing our planet from space can bring about a change in consciousness.
