The Wimmelbook of World Religions by Anna Wills and Nora Tomm provides excellent opportunities to engage preschool children in discussions about the diversity of faith. Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam: scenes from the Wimmelbook for each of the five world religions are presented in a total of 32 image action cards, making them suitable for use in larger groups. They offer speaking and storytelling prompts as well as creative ideas for projects and activities. In this way, preschool children can immerse themselves in the world religions and cultures, for example, by planning a religion corner together or creating a cultural monument through bodywork. A 28-page booklet provides further background information on the five religions, and the function of the image, project, and action cards is explained in detail.
