Banwood is a long-time admirer of the iconic Rispal house. Both Banwood and Rispal have brought their modern design perspectives to the world – Rispal with its focus on creating lighting designs from the Golden Age of French furniture, and Banwood with the establishment of children's products in timeless designs that promote an active lifestyle.

This collection is a tribute to 20th-century French design for today's children. The creation was carefully designed by interior architect Douglas Mont and has brought Banwood into the world of the Rispal house.

Douglas aimed to create a retro design with elements from the 1950s and 60s, infused with a personal touch. The result features an extravagant design made from an exclusive selection of materials. The frame design is inspired by Streamline Moderne and is characterized by curved structures and horizontal lines that convey a sense of movement and speed.

The choice of wheels is based on Douglas' personal connection to Clermont Ferrand, the city of Michelin, where he grew up. The Michelin tires add an extra personal touch to the bicycle and ensure a safe ride.

Handcrafted from genuine natural leather to provide a comfortable, durable, and supportive seat.
