One of the largest management games, in a newly translated and revised version by Asmodee Italia. Le Havre is a French city that hosts the second largest port in France (after Marseille). The city is notable not only for its size but also for its unusual name. Le Havre is a port management, ship, and building game. In each round, players must decide whether to take goods of one type or perform the action of a building. The number of goods on the supply fields varies from round to round. New goods of all kinds are regularly added and accumulate until a player takes them. Wood, clay, and iron are building materials. Fish, grain, and livestock are used to feed your port workers. Actions in buildings allow you to upgrade goods (the upgraded goods are depicted on the back of the tiles). Additionally, players must build wooden, iron, and steel ships in a dock to meet the increasing food demand from round to round. Players can also use their money (francs) to purchase ships and buildings. These can be constructed with raw materials or bought with money. Each player can enter any building. Many buildings require an entry fee, usually in the form of food. At the end of the game, the player with the greatest wealth, which is the sum of the player's money and the value of their ships and buildings, wins. Le Havre is a game for 1-5 players that can be played in a short or full version, providing the right challenge for every gaming group. Contents: 1 rulebook, 1 appendix: overview of buildings, 1 game board (foldable into three parts), 5 player tokens (in 5 player colors), 5 ship markers (in 5 player colors), 6 dice, 160 cards.
