After many days on the high seas, you reach the shores of an uninhabited island - the island of Catan. Observe your surroundings and set up on strategic locations around the island. Use the resources you obtain to build roads and towns. Trade with your opponents, but watch out for them! They could grab the best locations before you do, call in thieves to rob you of your hard-earned resources, and block your production. Placement, negotiation, and construction are the keys to success. Choose your strategy wisely to reach the 10 victory points that will crown you the winner.
This refreshed version benefits from a clarification of the rules, a more modern design, and a dynamic layout.
