It all begins with a book. Somewhere in the Miskatonic Museum, the Latin translation by Olaus Wormius of a book called Necronomicon has been hidden, locked in a secret place so that it cannot fall into the hands of those who should never access it. Recent events at the university and the Clover Club make you suspect that someone is now looking for this strange and ancient volume—someone who must not be allowed to discover its secrets.

And so you make your way to the Museum: the hour is late and the front door is closed, but you know that you must retrieve the book before anyone else can access its dark secrets for nefarious purposes. The cards and adventure in The Miskatonic Museum give you access to the Museum and its many exhibits. Whether your investigation revolves around a book to be recovered or is included in the Dunwich Legacy campaign, you will find that it is punctuated by an agonizing rhythm: you are not the only one exploring the dark rooms of the museum, and something else is wandering among the exhibits.
