Asmodée Ankh: Egyptian gods

In ancient times, people thrived along the great Nile, nourished by its rich waters and blessings. As the people flourished, so did their gods. The people built monuments, offered sacrifices, and worshipped their deities. In return, the gods bestowed upon them knowledge, tools, and wealth. However, some deities were more powerful than others. Those who were constantly revered became mighty, glorious, and influential. They could change the world on a whim. Those whose names no longer graced the lips of men changed their forms, their steps wavered, and their powers diminished. Change had arrived in the land of the Nile. And with change came war. The gods had never been brotherly towards one another, and in this moment, as they saw their existence threatened, they gathered their powers, rallied their followers, and waged war. In the end, when the dust settles, the blood has dried, and the winds have turned into gentle breezes, only one deity will emerge victorious from this new era of monotheism. Who will that be?.
