Asmodée Agricultural

One of the greatest classics of board games, in a newly translated and revised version by Asmodee Italia. We find ourselves in Central Europe in the late 1600s. The civilized world is awakening to life again after the disasters of the plague. People want to start anew, plow the fields, build houses, and strive for a better life. Players take on the role of a peasant family from that time and are tasked with managing their farm as effectively as possible by dedicating themselves to agriculture or livestock farming and investing the time and labor of family members. Throughout the game, you place your family members' meeples on the action spaces you want to occupy. An Agricola game lasts for 14 rounds. In each round, players place each of their family members on exactly one action space until all players have placed all their family members. The available actions are displayed on the game board. Players hinder each other, as each action space can only be used by one family member in each round. The selected actions from the previous phase are then executed. The goal is to gather food for your family and expand your farm board to be worth many points at the end of the game. In short, a classic of the German genre, where the winner is the one who can manage their resources better. That’s why Agricola is one of the quintessential management systems.
