Product details

Sperm whales are often seen in groups (called pods) of about 15 to 20 animals. Groups include females and their young, while males may migrate alone or move from group to group. Females and calves remain in tropical or subtropical waters year-round and apparently engage in communal child care. Males migrate alone or in groups to higher latitudes and return to the equator to breed.
