Product details

The Aero L-39 Albatros is a two-seat, single-engine training aircraft developed in Czechoslovakia as the successor to the L-29 Delfín, and it is still used by the air forces of several nations today. The Amewi version is a small, agile jet in PNP (Plug and Play) configuration. The aircraft comes mostly pre-assembled, with assembly limited to attaching the wings, linkages, and tail section. All servos (3x 8 grams), the 50 mm impeller including a 4300KV brushless motor, and a 20A Hobbywing ESC are already installed. The jet is designed to accommodate 3S Li-Po batteries ranging from 850 to 1000 mAh, giving the L-39 impressive flight performance. The speed ranges from fast to slow, making it suitable for less experienced pilots as well. Its agility and roll rate are also impressive, offering a wide range from very nimble to docile. The takeoff behavior is completely non-critical, allowing the model to be easily hand-launched. The jet shows no tendencies towards the typical nose-down behavior of impeller models. Due to its small size, the model is the perfect trunk-sized flyer for quick outings and provides a lot of fun even in a fleet with multiple models.
