Terra Futura is an engine-building card game where you create your land of tomorrow. By placing and activating cards in your territory, you gather resources and goods. Aim to be more effective than your opponents to win the game.

There are various strategies to build your economy. You can take a quick route that results in pollution, or you can choose a slower, cleaner approach. On each turn, you select a card from the display and place it in your territory. This action activates all the cards in the corresponding column and row. Therefore, consider carefully where you place each card.

Pollution plays a crucial role in the game. Utilizing international transport and accelerating production can help you acquire resources more quickly, but it also generates pollution, which may block your cards and hinder your ability to score some resources. However, if managed wisely, it could lead to victory.

The game concludes when all players have built their territory of nine cards in a 3 × 3 grid. At the end, players activate their territory one final time based on their secret scoring card. Victory points are awarded based on the resources and goods collected during the game, along with bonus points from secret scoring cards. Before declaring the winner, players must subtract points for each polluted card.
