Aeronaut Quido

Quido is a kit for a small electric flight model that fits in any trunk. The individual parts are largely prefabricated from balsa wood and must be assembled according to the included building instructions. The rear fuselage section consists of a single carbon fiber tube, ensuring a lightweight construction for the entire model. The tail unit is permanently glued to the fuselage and is not removable, which is not necessary given its compact size. The wing is built as a single piece and is attached to the fuselage with rubber bands, allowing for quick and easy assembly during flight preparation. Additionally, in the event of a rough landing, the wings can shift on the fuselage or detach without damage. The wings and tail units are covered with iron-on film, which the model builder can apply according to their own preferences and taste. Quido is suitable for model builders who have already gained some experience with a wooden kit from our free flight models and is an optimal entry point into RC model flying. The model kit includes all the wooden parts needed to build the fuselage and wings, a carbon fiber tube for the rear fuselage section, linkages and small parts, as well as a detailed building instruction manual. Suitable drives include outrunner motors with rear mounting, providing a power output of 100-150 watts with a 2s LiPo battery.
