Aeronaut Helixx wooden kit with GRP fuselage

Helixx is an elegant 6-flap glider designed for relaxed flying on slopes and in flat areas. It can be built as a glider or as an electric glider. The fiberglass fuselage and the included template for trimming the nose provide both options.

The wing is constructed in the proven aero-naut manner in a jig that allows for secure positioning of all components and a warp-free assembly. The wing is partially sheeted and offers attractive aesthetic design possibilities depending on the choice of covering material. The six large flaps can be programmed as desired, allowing for the adjustment of various flight states according to the pilot's preference. The 90° deployed air brakes are a reliable aid for descent and landing; their effectiveness can be further enhanced by combining them with the ailerons.

The energy requirements of the model are low. A 3S LiPo with a capacity starting from 2,400 mAh fits easily and allows for numerous climbs with good starting heights for thermal searching.

Helixx is a model that brings joy not only to the model pilot. The construction of the model, with its precisely laser-cut parts, is a lot of fun and builds anticipation for beautiful flights in evening thermals or in light winds on the slope.
