The identity of the Dark Lady of Shakespeare's sonnets has eluded experts and historians for over four centuries.

Object of the game:

You must track the Dark Lady as she travels through Shakespeare's London, circa 1600. If you can get close to her, you may receive a clue to her identity before she escapes once again.

You must gather enough clues to deduce her characteristics and confront her before she disappears for good. If you manage to capture and identify her, you win the game. The faster you find the Dark Lady, the higher your final score will be.

Good replayability:

During each game, the Dark Lady moves around London according to precise sequences established during the game setup. There are 20 of them, arranged in order of difficulty, guaranteeing that players always experience different games.

Several levels of difficulty:

To test the deduction skills of the best investigators, Black Sonata offers the challenge of searching for 12 different Dark Ladies across 5 levels of difficulty. Like Orchard, the faster you find the Dark Lady, the higher the difficulty level you choose and the better your final score will be.
