In ANNO DOMINI, precise knowledge is not what matters. After all, who really knows whether "08/15" became synonymous with carelessly produced mass goods before or after the Americans renamed the hamburger to "Salisbury Steak"? Each player takes turns adding a new event to the chain of mostly quirky occurrences, trying to be the first to get rid of their cards. If a player doubts that the event cards are in the correct order, the moment of truth arrives: the cards are flipped over, and the chronological sequence is checked against the given dates. If something is incorrect, the player who just took their turn receives penalty cards. However, if everything is correct, the doubter must draw penalty cards.
