Each player takes turns adding a new event to the chain of mostly quirky occurrences, trying to be the first to get rid of their cards. However, if a player is caught making a mistake, they receive penalty cards from the pile. Since this game mixes well-known events with curiosities, precise knowledge is not essential. Therefore, Anno Domini is suitable for everyone. Additionally, the gameplay ensures that the questions do not become stale, as is often the case with trivia games.
