We have been using the Abus Smartvest to our satisfaction since 2019. But since last week, the alarm keeps going off even though nothing is wrong. This even happens when we have deactivated the Smartvest via the app. We unplugged it, removed the batteries, and only reconnected everything the next day. But again, the alarm just went off, without any reason. Why is this happening and how can it be fixed?
The most likely cause is a faulty sensor or a disturbed radio connection. However, if the Smartvest continues to trigger an alarm even without active sensors, this indicates a defect in the control panel. In this case, ABUS support should be contacted.
