To the electricians here: In order for the switch to be used sensibly, the lamp must be set under continuous current. Are there any clean solutions or is the phase simply bridged, i.e. the circuit is constantly closed by means of a terminal?

The best solution is to remove the cover of the existing switch and push the switch itself further back into the flush-mounted box when it is switched on and simply mount the Hue switch above it.
It worked great for me.
