The specification says light switch with socket. However, I received a light switch with a socket. I can't use the switch because I need a switch that permanently interrupts the current to the lamp. Have I overlooked something or is the product description wrong?
Ah, now I've found it! A switch is always mentioned. But under Specification->Switch type it says push-button.

I am sure that the product is as described. It has a switch with LED indicator that lights up when the switch is off. and the socket always has power. Maybe the instructions will help you connect the wires.
