Question about Ring Alarm Keypad (Gen2)

The description of the power supply is a bit confusing @galaxus. The keypad actually runs on battery power for months and needs to be charged when it runs out. This is announced in good time in the app. A permanent power supply is not necessary. It can, but it doesn't have to.

I have two keypads; one is powered, the other is not. When the battery level of the second one is low, this is indicated via the app or with the set notifications (e.g. e-mail). The pad can then simply be slid out of the holder and charged at a socket using the cable supplied. Then put it back in the cradle and the thing is running again.
