Question about Nuki Smart Lock 2.0 CH

Opening/emergency opening from the inside. Is it possible to turn the Nuki mechanically to open it from the inside? Is it really a full replacement for a knob cylinder? To be dependent on full batteries when opening from the inside would be a security risk.
