Question about Bosch Professional GUS 12V-300 Professional

These are not tin snips, as the description says... for cutting different, flexible and soft materials (up to 11 mm thick) such as PVC, carpet, cardboard, leather, fabrics. The part is perfect for fabric. :-)

I have been using such scissors for some time now mainly to cut carpet and carpet panels. However, I can well imagine using them to cut thin sheet metal such as 0.3 or 0.4 mm thick. I would not use them for thicker sheets like 1 mm.

Scissors for paper, cardboard, soft plastics, felt, fabrics, leather, etc.
Not tin snips.

Good, then the product is simply in the wrong category (electric plate shears).
