any standard tripod will do, i'd say. i mounted it on one that was from the landi laser. laser is very strong and highly visible. well worth the money.

The Cross Laser can be mounted on any tripod - with universal 1/4" ( 6.35 mm) camera screw.

I can't say anything about the tripod. I haven't tried the laser yet.
