is the clamping sleeve 8mm also available longer? the stability of the cutter would be better.
No, not as far as I know. If the clamping sleeve and milling cutter are not stable enough, only a better/bigger milling cutter will help ;) This is a rather inexpensive one-handed edge router, so you shouldn't expect miracles from Makita either.
