The Keypad with the round dial equipped with push buttons is replaced in version 2 by 6 distinctive buttons. Another detail of version 2 of the Motion Detector: a new square shape, slightly leaded.it is likely that only version 2 of Ring Alarm System will be compatible with the new Ring Always Home Cam (drone) to come. For the moment, this new version 2 is only available in US.

Version two of the alarm system isn‘t suitable for Europe. It contains buttons that directly call the police or the fire brigade. That isn‘t legal in Europe for systems that weren‘t professionally installed.
