Question about EcoFlow Solar panel
I have two Ecoflow 160W panels on the balcony parapet (unprotected from the weather), which are connected together with SPCC branch cables and hooked up to the Delta 1300 (which is of course inside the building). Now my somewhat "unsettled" question: Are these connecting plugs really rain/snow-proof? Or should the plug connections be additionally protected from the weather?
According to the manufacturer: ''Our portable 160 W solar panel can continue to generate electricity even in heavy rain. Thanks to a protective ETFE film and a high IP68 protection rating, the solar panels can withstand damp and wet as well as dry and dusty environments.''
It can therefore be assumed that the original connections are approved for outdoor use.
