Question about Pioneer SPH-DA360DAB

I was lucky enough to find a socket (cigarette lighter socket) in the back of the Opel labelled 12 volts 120 watts, which saved me the most troublesome part of the whole thing, the thick monster cable, which is a must as we are still at 12 volts in the on-board network. Volts times amps = watts is the formula that explains why high-voltage cables are so thin and yet can carry so much current. The copper has to transport the amperes, which can be so thin for this reason based on the formula with 300,000 volts. I have tried to explain it simply.
