Does the plug also work in Japan? Digitec Filtercs says yes, but the manufacturer's website does not mention Japan among the supported countries.
However, the plugs in Japan do not use the earth plug -- so unfortunately this adapter does not fit in the "usual" sockets there.
Have not used the part in Japan, but on the Skross homepage, http://www.skross.com/de..., at least 2-pole Japan is listed in the connection sketches.
The sockets in Japan correspond to those in the USA, so the adapter also fits there.
One difference, however, is the mains voltage; 100V in Japan, 110V in the USA and 230V here. You should make sure that your devices can handle this voltage.
In Japan, the mains voltage is 50 or 60Hz, depending on the region. This should not be a problem for most devices.
