Does the ladder have to be fully extended or can it also be used if it is only partially extended?

Possible according to the data sheet.
EXTENDING THE LADDER TO MEDIUM LENGTH and EXTENDING THE LADDER TO FULL LENGTH are described in detail, I think any height can be extended.
