Question about Garmin Motorcycle connection cable

I would like to answer the question indirectly (because I don't have a 396): As a manufacturer (Garmin) I would like to optimise my costs - as low as possible. That's why I would install the same connector on all models. Otherwise: Google photos of the various Garmin navigation devices that show the socket for the power connection and compare them.
