Question about Ekström 2000i
Does such a device have to be started regularly, or does it do no harm if it sits unused in the cellar for years until it is really needed?
At least once a year you should run the mill for at least 5 minutes.
If that's too much, you don't need one.

There are instructions in the manual for long-term storage. But I haven't tried it yet, as I only bought it 1 month ago.
The description in the manual is very clear. If it is not used for a long time, unscrew the spark plug, pour a spoonful of engine oil, and drain the gasoline in the carburetor.
Hello, I haven't even started the appliance yet, for exactly this reason.
It's probably like with all petrol-powered devices, if they are not used for a longer period of time then at least the petrol should be taken out of the tank. I let the devices run empty. Keep a jump start spray handy in case of emergency. Since I've been using alkylate petrol, I've hardly had any problems starting after a long period of disuse.
